Subject: Breach of Aarhus Convention by the United Kingdom

Dear Ms. Bolshakova,

I write to report a problem with implementing the Aarhus Convention in the UK. Briefly, there is some information about trees, which is held by a public body, that is being kept secret. I have been trying for almost two years to obtain the information, without success. The information is supposed to be released under UK Environmental Information Regulations: the Regulations are how the stipulations of the Convention were enacted. More details are at
 http://www.informath.org/apprise/a3900.htm

My belief is that the failure of the UK to release the information constitutes a breach of the Convention.

If you have recommendations on how I should proceed, or would be willing to assist in any way, I would be much appreciative.

Sincerely,
Douglas Keenan
