Dear Ms. Jamison,

Copying computer files takes little time: the reason given in your letter is a transparent attempt to violate the statute.

Last year, I made a similar information request to the university, which was also rejected.  I then filed a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office.  The ICO has been backlogged, but should begin to investigate this summer.

Regarding the International Tree-Ring Data Bank, at NOAA, this is cited in my requests; so you must be aware that I am familiar with it and that it does not contain the data that I am requesting.

Sincerely,

Douglas J. Keenan
